Thailand praises Iran's achievements in development of indigenous digital platforms

Tehran, IRNA – On the sidelines of the 2022 Seoul Communications and Digital Tech ESCAP Ministers Conference, Thailand's telecom minister in a meeting with Iran telecom and information minister praised Iran's achievements in development of indigenous digital platforms.

Issa Zarepour, Iran's telecom and information minister, had a meeting with the Thai Digital Economy Development Minister Ucharal Naym-Osor, amid his intensive program in South Kora, to participate in Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) conference, in which 17 ministers and deputy ministers are participating.

Ucharal Naym-Osor in the meeting also asked for broader sustainable mutual cooperation aimed at development of telecommunication and information industry.

He also announced his country's officials' readiness for visiting Iran to sign cooperation memoranda of cooperation to boost the level of technological interactions.

Minister Zarepour, too, pointed to the background of mutual cooperation in interactions in this field, said that Iran welcomes continuation of such relations and joint meetings, till reaching joint innovative scientific achievements.
